Emma Watson has been called out by Alexis Haines (previously Neiers), the woman she portrayed in hit 2013 movie The Bling Ring.
In the movie, directed by Sofia Coppola and inspired by real-life events, a group of teenagers use the internet to track celebrities before robbing their homes.
Harry Potter star Emma plays Nicki, based on Alexis.
Speaking on an Instagram Live with Ziwe Fumudoh this week, Alexis explained: ’The problem I had is with the comments she made about me and the role, despite the fact that she already knew that I was a convicted … like, the heroin part, my drug addiction part had already come out.
‘So I was actually in treatment at the time they were filming the movie.’
Alexis – who says she has never watched the film – then continued: ’I think [Watson] said something along the lines of like, “This girl’s the epitome of what I’m totally against and she’s disgusting,” and you know at that point I already came out with the fact that I’d been sexually abused throughout my childhood and was like a full-blown heroin addict at the time.’
It is not known which comments of Emma’s Alexis was paraphrasing, but the actress did tell GQ in 2013: ‘I’m probably the least obvious choice to play the role, as she’s the epitome of everything that I am considered not to be.
‘We’re polar opposites. When I read the script and I realised that essentially it was a meditation on fame and what it’s become to our society, I had to do it.
‘The character is everything that I felt really strongly against – she’s superficial, materialistic, vain, amoral. She’s all of these things, and I realised that I really hated her. How do you play someone that you hate?
‘But I found it really interesting and it gave me a whole new insight into what my job, or my role as an actress, could be.’
The real-life Bling Ring, who were the subject of a 2010 Vanity Fair article, robbed the homes of famous names including Orlando Bloom, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan.
Emma’s other movie credits include The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Little Women.
Metro.co.uk has contacted Emma’s reps for a comment.

And it was on August 21, 2000, that the now-iconic trio were first introduced to the world.
The BBC’s Lizo Mzimba shared a snap of Emma, Daniel and Rupert rocking up to their first press conference.
‘Today’s exactly 20 years since the announcement that #DanielRadcliffe @EmmaWatson #RupertGrint had been cast in Harry Potter, taking part in their first press conference few days later,’ the presenter penned.
‘Still remember the frantic excitement of that week @HarryPotterFilm @JK_Rowling @NeilBlairTBP.’
How young do they all look? And how old do you feel right now? Has anyone got a Time Turner to hand?
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone skyrocketed all three stars to worldwide with fame, with the subsequent seven films cementing their status in Hollywood.
Tom Felton, Alan Rickman, Maggie Smith, Ralph Fiennes and Helena Bonham Carter are just some of the other names that made up the star-studded cast.
However, it turns out not everyone in the line-up was that keen on all things Potter-based.
Filming a birthday message for a fan on Cameo, the 79-year-old introduced herself as ‘Professor Sprout from Harry Potter’ before dropping the ultimate bombshell.
‘I understand you and Chris are huge Harry Potter fans. Here’s the thing, I’m not,’ she admitted.
‘I’m not against it, I’m just not interested. I’ve never seen a film. I’ve never seen the books, I’ve never read them. I just pocket the money when it comes and I’m very grateful for it.
’I think that J.K Rowling is a terrific writer. I’m sure Harry Potter’s world is a good world, but it’s not my world.’
10 points from Hufflepuff.

Emma Watson and her boyfriend Leo Robinton won’t let lockdown stop them from getting their caffeine fix, oh no.
The actress, 30, who is best known for playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies, made a rare appearance with Leo, as they ventured out for a little park date in Primrose Hill.
The couple wrapped up as they grabbed some fresh air and their coffees to go, with Emma still looking oh so fashion on her walk around the block.
She stepped out wearing a charcoal grey tailored coat and leather boots, as well as a beanie hat she threw on to keep warm and a checked face mask.
Not to be outdone by his fashionista girlfriend, Leo schooled us all in smart casual, as he rocked a patterned blazer coat, white jumper and shiny boots.
He and Emma were seen stocking up on take-away treats, including a cheeky mini-bottle of wine, before heading into the park to continue their date alfresco.
Since finding fame with Harry Potter on the big screen, Emma has spent plenty of time over in the US, attending Ivy League college Brown University in Rhode Island and hanging out in Los Angeles.
Leo, meanwhile, is a businessman from LA and was first romantically linked to the Little Women star in October last year, when they were spotted kissing.
Since then, the duo have kept their relationship relatively private, although it’s been reported things are getting pretty serious, as Emma has introduced Leo to her parents.
‘Emma and Leo did everything in their power to keep their relationship private, but his closeness with Emma didn’t go unnoticed by his colleagues at the time,’ a sourced told Mail Online.
‘Emma introduced Leo to her parents, she was really serious about him,’ they added, claiming: ‘They went for a meal together back in December at The Ivy restaurant in St John’s Wood not long after Emma and Leo first met.’
Their relationship came to light after Emma had opened up about her love life in an interview with British Vogue in November last year and insisted she was ‘self-partnered’.
She told the publication: ‘I never believed the whole, “I’m happy single,” spiel. I was like, “this is totally spiel,” it took me a long time, but I’m very happy.’
‘I call it being self-partnered,’ she revealed – a term that her Harry Potter co-star Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy, then referenced himself and said he was too ‘quite happily self-partnered’.
His admission came after Rupert Grint had – not wanting to stir up any rumours, but definitely doing so – claimed he had always seen ‘sparks’ between Emma and Tom on the Harry Potter set.
Rupert, who played Ron Weasley, told Entertainment Tonight: ‘There was always something. There was a little bit of a spark.’
Tom, meanwhile, had nothing but nice things to say about Emma when quizzed by Metro.co.uk last year. He gushed: ‘Emma’s Emma, she’s a unique, beautiful soul. It’s always nice to bump into one another.’

Could there be a ninth Harry Potter film in the works?
Well, Warner Bros CEO Jack Kilar set the wizarding rumour mill off as he hinted at a potential sequel in the movie franchise, based on JK Rowling’s beloved books, The Hollywood Reporter reports.
During a virtual appearance at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media and Telecommunications Conference, Kilar said: ‘There’s this little thing called Harry Potter, which is one of the most beloved franchises.
‘And we’re incredibly thankful to be able to partner with JK Rowling, and so I would argue there’s a lot of fun and potential there as well.’
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone cast a spell on us all when released in cinemas in November 2001.
We got our last glimpse of the gang – including Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) – a decade later, when Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 dropped in 2011.
If there is set to be another movie, it appears that the franchise’s lead Daniel, would be hard-pressed to take on the role again.
It turns out that while the 31-year-old was ‘grateful’ to have been picked to play ‘the boy who lived’, he has been left ’embarrassed’ by his acting as a child.
Speaking about Harry Potter with Empire, via Digital Spy, he confessed: ‘It’s hard to separate my relationship with Harry from my relationship with the films as a whole.
‘I’m incredibly grateful for the experience. It showed me what I want to do with the rest of my life. To find out early on what you love is really lucky.
‘I’m intensely embarrassed by some of my acting, obviously [laughs], but yeah, it’s like asking, “how do you feel about your teenage years?”
‘There’s so much in there that it’s almost impossible to single out one feeling.’
Meanwhile, Daniel’s Harry Potter co-star Emma recently made headlines after claims emerged she was retiring from her successful career as a movie star at age 30.
Seth Rogen has set the record straight about claims Emma Watson ‘stormed off’ the set of their 2013 film, This Is The End.
The hit comedy saw Seth and the likes of James Franco and Jonah Hill play themselves enjoying a Hollywood party when the apocalypse begins.
Emma Watson was among the famous names who made a cameo in the film, including the likes of Rihanna, Mindy Kaling, and Kevin Hart.
During production, a Tumblr user who claimed to be an extra on the film made the allegation that the Harry Potter actress walked off the set due to her discomfort over a scene towards the end of the movie.
The actress allegedly reacted to a scene which featured Danny McBride embracing cannibalism, while Channing Tatum was playing his gimp mask-clad prisoner on a leash.
During a new profile with British GQ, Seth cleared up the rumor as he stated: ‘I mean, I don’t look back on that and think, “How dare she do that?” You know?
‘I think sometimes when you read something, when it comes to life it doesn’t seem to be what you thought it was.’
He continued: ‘It was not some terrible ending to our relationship. She came back the next day to say goodbye. She helped promote the film. No hard feelings and I couldn’t be happier with how the film turned out in the end.’
In fact, Seth thinks Emma’s reaction to the scene – which ended up being tamed down for the final cut – was warranted.
He told the publication: ‘She was probably right. It was probably funnier the way we ended up doing it.’

Seth Rogen has spoken out to clarify the comments he made denying Emma Watson’s had ‘stormed off the set’ of their film, This Is The End.
The 38-year-old – who co-wrote and co-directed the film – once again made it clear that the rumors about the actress had not been true.
Seth explained that he wanted to dismiss the idea the Harry Potter star was ‘in some way uncool or unprofessional’ when making the film which the likes of featured James Franco and Jonah Hill playing fictionalized versions of themselves trying to survive the apocalypse.
In an interview with British GQ last week, the Canadian star addressed rumors the 30-year-old actress walked off set after objecting to a scene in the movie involving cannibalism.
He responded to the question by saying there are ‘no hard feelings’ between him and Watson.
Then he went on to release a statement shared on Twitter on Tuesday explained that he wanted to ‘correct’ the story because ‘it misrepresents what actually happened’.
He said: ‘Emma Watson did not ‘storm off the set’ and it’s s**tty that the perception is that she did. The scene was not what was originally scripted, it was getting improvised, changed drastically and was not what she agreed to.
‘The narrative that she was in some way uncool or unprofessional is complete bulls**t. I for sure should have communicated better and because I didn’t, she was put in an uncomfortable position.’
The scene in question featured Danny McBride as a cannibal and Channing Tatum as a prisoner on a leash wearing a revealing leather thong.
Seth said he discussed it with Watson that night and described it as a ‘s**tty situation’, before praising the actress for sharing her objections with him.
The Knocked Up star added: ‘We agreed on her not being in the scene together. I was thrilled for the opportunity to work with her and would be thrilled to get that opportunity again.
‘I am very sorry and disappointed it happened, and I wish I had done more to prevent it.’
In his interview with GQ, Seth claimed Emma was ‘probably right’ about the scene and that it was ‘probably funnier the way we ended up doing it’.

Josh Gad has jumped to the defence of his former co-star Emma Watson, after Seth Rogen was forced to clear up claims the actress ‘stormed off set’.
Former Harry Potter star Emma, 30, found herself subjected to criticism online, after comments her This Is The End co-star Seth Rogen made about her were misinterpreted to suggest she had acted ‘unprofessionally’ on set.
Emma stars in the movie alongside Seth, James Franco and Jonah Hill, where the stars play fictionalised versions of themselves and try to survive an apocalypse.
Seth was asked about rumours Emma had walked off set after objecting to a scene involving cannibalism, but was later forced to correct his comments after they were perceived wrongly by fans.
‘The narrative that she was in some way uncool or unprofessional is complete bulls**t,’ he tweeted.
Josh, meanwhile, who starred alongside Emma in Beauty and the Beast threw his support behind his former co-star, as he defended her against her critics on Instagram.
Alongside a picture of himself with Emma, Josh wrote: ‘Pure love. @emmawatson is a legend and an amazing human being. Not that it needed saying but…well…she is.’
Fans were all for Josh championing the star, with one responding to his post: ‘It was needed to be said 💁♀️.’
Another commented: ‘🙌Truth,’ while one more posted: ‘Legends recognise legends. You’re the best.’
Josh’s post came after Seth caused controversy with comments he made about Emma and their 2013 movie in his recent interview with British GQ.
Asked about rumours Emma stormed off set, Seth responded by saying there were ‘no hard feelings’ between himself and his co-star.
He said: ‘It was not some terrible ending to our relationship. She came back the next day to say goodbye. She helped promote the film. No hard feelings and I couldn’t be happier with how the film turned out in the end.’
However, Seth later cleared up any suggestion that Emma was ‘uncool’ or ‘unprofessional’ when making This Is The End.
The actor, who co-wrote and co-directed the film, tweeted a follow-up statement that read: ‘Emma Watson did not “storm off the set” and it’s s**tty that the perception is that she did. The scene was not what was originally scripted, it was getting improvised, changed drastically and was not what she agreed to.
‘The narrative that she was in some way uncool or unprofessional is complete bulls**t. I for sure should have communicated better and because I didn’t, she was put in an uncomfortable position.’
Seth continued: ‘We agreed on her not being in the scene together. I was thrilled for the opportunity to work with her and would be thrilled to get that opportunity again.
‘I am very sorry and disappointed it happened, and I wish I had done more to prevent it.’
The This Is The End scene in question featured Danny McBride as a cannibal and Channing Tatum, wearing a leather thong, as a prisoner on a leash.
In his original interview, Seth said Emma’s objections to it were warranted and it ended up being tamed down for the final cut of the film.
‘She was probably right,’ Seth said. ‘It was probably funnier the way we ended up doing it.’

Emma Watson has quashed rumours she is engaged and has promised to keep fans in the loop ‘if I have news’.
The Harry Potter star, who is currently dating Leo Robinton, has been at the centre of speculation stories in recent weeks, broke her silence on social media to set the story straight.
‘Dear Fans, Rumours about whether I’m engaged or not, or whether my career is “dormant or not” are ways to create clicks each time they are revealed to be true or untrue,’ Emma penned.
‘If I have news – I promise I’ll share it with you.’
The Hermione Granger actress continued: ‘In the mean time please assume no news from me just means I’m quietly spending the pandemic the way most people are – failing to make sourdough bread (!), caring for my loved ones and doing my best not to spread a virus that is still affecting so many people.
‘I am sending so much love to you, hoping you’re ok and as well and happy as you can be in these strange times. And again, thank you to everyone working so hard to keep us safe and well. E Xx.’

Keeping it short is important for RiRi as summer kicks in… she teamed her new elfin hairdo with a white miniskirt.
Covid-compliant with her bright green face mask, the 33-year-old ducked out for a dinner at Nobu in LA with mates.
There was no sign of her rapper boyfriend A$AP Rocky — there have been few sightings of the pair together in recent months.
The Love On The Brain singer also wore bright red lippy to celebrate topping the cosmetics chart.
Rihanna’s £20 Stunna Lip Paint, from her Fenty range, was ranked by industry experts as the least likely to need a touch-up after mask-wearing or become smudged while eating.
Earlier this week RiRi was criticised by her own fans after she attempted to turn political and give her views on the Israel-Palestinian conflict.
Platinum bond… Ari’s man designed her wedding ring
Ariana Grande trusted her new hubby Dalton Gomez to design her wedding ring.
The 7 Rings singer stunned fans with her secret marriage in California at the weekend, and yesterday it emerged the real estate agent took matters into his own hands when it came to the bling.
Dalton turned to jewellers Solow & Co to craft a platinum band to complement the diamond and pearl ring made by the New York company when he popped the question five months ago. A Solow spokesman said: ‘It’s a beautiful, tasteful platinum and diamond pavé band. Dalton was very happy with it.’
Last year the 25-year-old approached jeweller Jack Solow to create the ‘very specific’ engagement ring he wanted for Ariana, 27. Jack spilled: ‘Dalton had very strong feelings about how he wanted this to look, a contemporary kind of way. It was his idea to do the diamond on an angle and he said we had to incorporate a pearl.’
On Monday Ari’s rep confirmed an ‘intimate’ wedding took place at her home in Montecito.
Becks gets a kick out of Romeo’s ‘Bend it’ goal
Dad David was happy to take the credit after his son Romeo proved he, too, can bend it like Beckham.
The 18-year-old hopes to emulate Becks in every way after stepping out for free kick practice in his dad’s famous No.7 England shirt, with his matching bleached buzz cut.
The ex-Manchester United star’s sports-mad middle son banged a free kick over a wall of defenders and into the top corner of the net — just as Beckham famously did in stoppage time in a World Cup qualifier against Greece in 2001.
Chuffed Romeo posted the proof on Instagram, writing: ‘Practice makes perfect.’
Becks, 46, commented on his lad’s impressive efforts saying: ‘You’re welcome.’
And if Romeo doesn’t make it on the football pitch he has a fall-back as a pro tennis player after previously playing top ten ranked players at The Queen’s Club in London.

Bebe Rexha vowed not to give up after her album Better Mistakes limped to a humiliating No.140 on the US Billboard chart. The Meant To Be singer, 31, said: ‘Upsetting. But I won’t stop. I never have and never will.’
Paltrow’s poses upset her Moses
Gwyneth Paltrow says Moses, her 15-year-old son with Chris Martin, cringes if she reveals too much on the red carpet. Gwynnie, 48, said: ‘He never likes it if I wear vaguely see-through or too low-cut. He wants me to dress conservatively.’
Michaela scores another show
I May Destroy You star Michaela Coel has landed a new TV show.
The BBC teased: ‘It’s relatively early stages but we just wanted to let everybody know, for the fans of I May Destroy You, that there was a new show coming along.’
Hinting that fest is yet to come…
Glasto boss Emily Eavis suggested this weekend’s live stream event will tease next year’s line-up if the festival goes ahead at Worthy Farm. ‘There might be some subtle hints towards the future,’ said Emily, 41.
Sheryl: Show is all I wanna do
Sheryl Crow’s British fans will be able to attend a gig at her ‘little church’ in Nashville on June 18… by stream. ‘Presenting these songs in a new way is exciting — this is not a typical acoustic show,’ said the All I Wanna Do singer, 59.

If you wanted to see a more speechless Tom Felton, behold the Harry Potter star being asked for his thoughts on the romance speculation with Emma Watson.
Fans of the magical franchise have long-loved the idea Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger had something going on IRL, with even Ron Weasley actor Rupert Grint saying there was ‘always something’ between the pair.
Now in a new interview, Tom was drawn on the chatter and while he felt the romance was more a ‘Slytherin/Gryffindor’ thing, his awkward pause after the question was louder than words – and he knows it.
Asked about the rumours between him and Emma, Tom awkwardly laughed before noting his ‘silence will speak volumes’.
He went on in the Entertainment Tonight interview: ‘We are something, if that makes any sense? We’ve been very close for a long time. I adore her. I think she’s fantastic. Hopefully she returns the compliment.’
However, for any Potterheads hoping Emma – who recently shut down engagement rumours with her boyfriend who is not Tom Felton – will settle down with Malfoy, they may be barking up the wrong Whomping Willow.
Tom went on: ‘As far as the romantic side of it, I think that’s a Slytherin/Gryffindor thing rather than a Tom and Emma thing.
‘I absolutely think the world of her. I think to be a part of what we’ve all been a part of, but for her to be the only girl, certainly the youngest one on set, to grow up with what she had to grow up with was incredibly exciting. You’re going to get me teary now, but no, I think she’s a fantastic influence on the world.’
A very diplomatic answer, Tom.
Tom and Emma have remained close since the franchise ended, and have shared a number of pictures together on social media, including one in 2019 where Tom gave his friend a guitar lesson in South Africa.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Rupert said that he didn’t want to stir up any rumours… after he stirred up the rumours with a big ol’ wooden spoon in a cauldron.
When asked if he could ever see Emma and Tom together, the actor said: ‘Yeah I could.
‘There was always something. There was a little bit of a spark.’
In a chat with Metro.co.uk not long after, Tom made it clear he’s tight with Emma, noting: ‘Emma’s got a place around the corner from me in LA, as does Bonnie [Wright, who played Ginny Weasley], I think Matt Lewis [who played Neville Longbottom] lived there for a while.
‘We’re growing up slowly but surely. I couldn’t say enough good words about any of them.’
He continued: ‘Rupert’s such a down to earth guy despite all the fandom and whatnot. Daniel, his work ethic is incredible. He’s a funny, witty guy…
‘Emma’s Emma, she’s a unique, beautiful soul. It’s always nice to bump into one another.’

Emma Watson led the way at a green carpet with a difference, donning a recycled outfit for the Earthshot Prize ceremony, held at London’s Alexandra Palace.
The Harry Potter actress was joined by hosts Prince William and Kate Middleton, as well as Dame Emma Thompson, Dermot O’Leary and presenter Clara Amfo, for the bash.

The Hermione Granger star paired the stunning dress with minimal accessories, black trousers and chunky boots.
Dame Emma, who also appeared in the wizarding franchise, opted for a blue suit on the night, completing the look with a matching blue top and white shoes.
Dermot O’Leary was another star who got the suit memo, and was pictured in a black tuxedo beside wife Dee Koppang, while Clara Amfo wowed in a white patterned blazer and trouser combo.
The Duke of Cambridge took inspiration from Daniel Craig’s pink velvet suit at the recent No Time To Die premiere, choosing a dark emerald velvet jacket of his own, coupled with dark trousers dnd a polo neck.
Kate Middleton looked radiant as she rounded out the arrivals in a simple white, floor-length Alexander McQueen gown from 2011.
Prince William launched his prize to find solutions to the planet’s environmental problems, with Sir David Attenborough and actress Cate Blanchett among the judges.
A short film pre-recorded in the London Eye will play during the ceremony, with the Royal informing the audience: ‘We are alive in the most consequential time in human history.
‘The actions we choose or choose not to take in the next 10 years will determine the fate of the planet for the next thousand.
‘A decade doesn’t seem long, but humankind has an outstanding record of being able to solve the unsolvable.
‘Many of the answers are already out there… but we need everyone – from all parts of society – to raise their ambition and unite in repairing our planet.
‘The future is ours to determine. And if we set our minds to it, nothing is impossible.’
The Earthshot Prize: Repairing Out Planet will air tonight at 8pm on BBC One.

Stars such as Dua Lipa, Emma Watson, Samuel L Jackson and Kate Garraway were out in full force on Saturday night for the taping of Adele’s one-off show at the London Palladium, set to be broadcast on TV on November 21.
ITV’s An Audience With Adele will see the chart-topper perform tracks from her upcoming album 30, including record-breaking lead single Easy On Me, two days after release, alongside a selection of her other classic ballads.
The specially invited guest list had been mostly under wraps until the arrivals began, although The Sun reported Alan Carr and Sir Elton John as attendees ahead of Saturday’s recording.
Cold Heart singer Dua, 26, looked vibrant and defied the evening chill in a pink collared cutaway dress with a butterfly motif.
The performer matched her pastel eye make-up to her outfit and wore her dark hair lose with small plaits at the front.
Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway wore a fetching black polo neck with pearl detailing, a full-length skirt and matching drop earrings, while Hollywood A-lister Samuel L Jackson rocked up in a striking green cardigan jacket, co-ordinating trousers and a grey floral T-shirt.
Emma Watson was also a chic presence at the event, as she was pictured arriving in a car dressed in a black ensemble with a hint of sparkle and a glamorous dark red lip.
Alan Carr was present and correct in a suave dark blue embellished velvet blazer, blue collared shirt and black trousers, while actor and Years & Years singer Olly Alexander opted for a black V-neck top with a criss-cross detail and a sparkly gold-chain pendant.
Phillip Schofield, 59, looked smart in a grey tweed three-piece suit with a shot of blue running through, which he wore with an open-necked white shirt, as he attended the performance with his wife, Stephanie Lowe.
Boy George brought bold colours to the event’s red carpet as he rocked his signature hat – this time in a beautiful mid blue – and wore a fun pink spotted dark denim jacket, a black and pink gingham shirt, and black and white patchwork trousers.
Radio DJ Nick Grimshaw was at Adele’s concert with his dancer boyfriend Meshach Henry, and the couple cut stylish figures in cream knitwear and matching chains, with Grimmy in a pinstripe suit and Meshach in dark trousers.
Ted Lasso Emmy-winner Hannah Waddingham brought elegance to the occasion in black satin suit ensemble with a matching coat over her shoulders and her blonde hair swept up to reveal sparkling drop earrings.
Alesha Dixon also got the black suit memo but showcased dramatic cut sleeves and wore gold accessories with her statement earrings, heels and chain strap handbag.
Comedian Harry Hill was in his usual uniform of a large-collared white shirt, but showed off a little embroidery on his dark suit’s lapels and pockets for the occasion, while Jonathan Ross went for a brown suit with black check on his jacket and black stripes on his trousers, and a contrasting back and white striped shirt.
Dame Kelly Holmes looked stunning in a black velvet tuxedo dress, with lace-up heels and a collection of statement silver earrings, while model and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Daisy Lowe was all smiles in a dark red and black striped bodycon skirt and buttoned top, with a black shearling leather jacket and matching black and silver jewellery.
Fans were offered a glimpse of Adele herself as she left the taping afterwards, in a stunning off-the-shoulder black sparkling gown and big Hollywood glam loose curls.
The singer was also spotted out in London with her boyfriend Rich Paul earlier this week, as he accompanied her to her hometown for the first time ahead of the show taping.
The 33-year-old singer and Rich, 39, were pictured leaving Mayfair Chinese restaurant Kai.
An Audience With Adele will air on ITV on November 21.

Movie bosses are planning a Harry Potter filmed special for the 20th anniversary of the first film, with hopes that major stars including Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint will attend, it has been claimed.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone hit cinemas in November, 2001, making instant stars out of Daniel, Emma and Rupert, who played the central trio of Harry, Hermione and Ron.
According to reports, other actors in the franchise have also been issued with invitations to take part in the reunion, which will be filmed at the Warner Bros Studio Tour London later this month.
A source told The Sun: ‘The proposed show is being shrouded in secrecy as franchise bosses want to get talent locked in first.
‘It would be amazing if they pull it off and they have offered big money to the cast to reunite.
‘Many of the actors have moved on, but the movies launched them to superstardom.’
They added that those who took part in the franchise have ‘fond memories’ of their time on set, leaving organisers ‘hopeful it will happen’.
It has been suggested that the success of the Friends reunion, which saw series stars Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry and Matt Le Blanc together in public for the first time since the show ended in 2004, inspired the idea.
Revelations flowed – including those of Jennifer and David’s mutual crushes – and headlines were sparked across the world as international fans caught up with beloved TV characters from the past.
The same could surely be the case for the Harry Potter cast, which also launched the careers of Tom Felton, Evanna Lynch, Katie Leung, Bonnie Wright, Matthew Lewis, Harry Melling and Alfred Enoch.
Let’s not forget one Robert Pattinson, who appeared as Cedric Diggory in the fourth film, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire – however, he might be too busy being Batman to attend.
Director of the first Harry Potter movie, Chris Columbus, also revealed his desire to direct a film version of The Cursed Child, author JK Rowling’s theatrical follow-up to the book series, set when the gang are adults.
Speaking to Variety, he said: ‘It’s a great play and the kids are actually the right age to play those roles. It’s a small fantasy of mine.’
A reunion could be the perfect place to pitch this idea, coincidentally…

However, many of the then child stars are now fully fledged actors with incredible careers and have become real-life heroes, standing up for causes they believe in, such as bringing attention to the climate crisis and standing up for trans rights.
So, where are each of them 20 years on from the film that started it all?
Daniel Radcliffe – Harry Potter
Harry Potter star Daniel hasn’t exactly disappeared from the spotlight since he first hit the screen in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
Daniel was 21 when the final Harry Potter film was released, going onto star in The Woman in Black, and then Kill Your Darlings.
The actor, now 32, has become known for his performances in smaller productions, such as rom-com What If?, thriller Guns Akimbo, and Victor Frankenstein, and for his work in the theatre.
He’s also been with his girlfriend, Erin Darke, since 2012 after they met on the set of Kill Your Darlings.
Emma Watson – Hermione Granger
Emma was the youngest of the ‘golden trio,’ beginning the films aged nine.
Since Deathly Hallows Part II was released, she’s starred in plenty of other big productions, including the Perks of Being A Wallflower, and The Bling Ring almost straight after the franchise ended.
More recently, she was praised for her performance as Jo March in Little Women, and starred as Belle in Beauty and the Beast.
From 2009 to 2014, Emma studied English Literature at Brown University and she’s been incredibly vocal about causes she believes in, particularly speaking out about the climate crisis, in recent years.
Emma, now 31, is thought to be dating Leo Robinton. While rumours spread this year that they had got engaged, Emma denied the reports.
Rupert Grint – Ron Weasley
While starring as the loveable Ron, Rupert managed to take on a couple of roles during the Harry Potter franchise, starring in Cherrybomb in 2009 and then taking on a role in Ed Sheeran’s music video for his song Lego House in 2011.
More recently, Rupert has turned his hand to TV, starring in the likes of Snatch, the ABC Murders, and Servant.
Last year, Rupert also welcomed his first child, a baby daughter named Wednesday, with his girlfriend Georgia Groome – and fans simply couldn’t handle that one of the golden trio had become a parent!
The 33-year-old kept his family life very private but has said of fatherhood: ‘It was something I never really had much of an idea of, that kind of love. It’s a very different love.’
Tom Felton – Draco Malfoy
Tom, who was 22 when the last Harry Potter film was released, took on a huge role right after the franchise ended, in Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
Since, he’s starred in smaller productions, including From the Rough and A United Kingdom.
Like Rupert, he’s also appeared in TV, such as Origin and The Flash, and took on a role in James Arthur’s music video for Empty Space.
Meanwhile, Tom, now 34, is also a musician in his own right, sharing songs on social media, and often catches up with his former co-stars, especially James and Oliver Phelps, who starred as the Weasley twins – we love to see it!
He’s also still quite the Potter fan himself, even ditching his Slytherin colours to dress up as Harry for Halloween this year.
Robbie Coltrane – Hagrid
Robbie Coltrane had a long career before the Harry Potter films, but the franchise saw him land what is known as one of his most memorable roles ever.
The actor starred in each of the films as loveable half-giant Hagrid, and even featured in other blockbusters, including Ocean’s Twelve, in between the films.
The Scot, now 71, has taken things a bit more slowly since the franchise ended, most recently starring as Orson Welles in TV series Urban Myths.
Robbie has two children with his ex-wife Rhona Gemmell – Spencer and Alice.
Dame Maggie Smith – Professor McGonagall
As one of the most distinguished actresses in Britain, it’s safe to say Dame Maggie didn’t need Harry Potter to kickstart her career.
But, along with many other roles, her performance as Professor McGonagall was pretty iconic.
Since the franchise ended, she’s again gone from strength to strength, starring in The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and its sequel, as well as taking on the role of Violet Crawley in Downton Abbey.
She’s now 86 and still smashing it as she prepares for the release of the second Downton Abbey film, A New Era.
Dame Maggie has two children and five grandchildren, and has been married twice. Her second husband, playwright Beverley Cross, died in 1998.
Fiona Shaw – Petunia Dursley
After riling fans up as the cold Petunia Dursley, Fiona, now 63, also took on some absolutely incredible roles across film and TV.
She’s appeared in the likes of Colette, alongside Kiera Knightley, Ammonite with Kate Winslet and Saoirse Ronan, and of course as the no-nonsense Carolyn Martens in Killing Eve with Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer.
Fiona, who has previously spoken out about being gay, met her now-wife Sonali Deraniyagala after reading her memoir. The pair tied the knot in 2018.
Harry Melling – Dudley Dursley
Harry first appeared in the Harry Potter films at the age of 10 as the blundering Dudley, later appearing in almost all of the films.
Since Potter, the actor has appeared in various smaller productions, and was praised for his performance alongside Anya Taylor-Joy in Netflix’s The Queen’s Gambit last year.
Harry, now 32, has also made his name as a theatre actor, appearing in the likes of King Lear at the Old Vic.
Ian Hart – Professor Quirrell
Ian, 57, played the shock villain Professor Quirrell in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (Seriously, who saw that coming?), but that wasn’t the first time he played a the role of a lackey to Voldemort.
In 1999 he appeared alongside Ralph Fiennes in The End of the Affair, as a private detective hired by Ralph to spy on Julianne Moore.
Since his one and only Harry Potter movie, Ian has gone on to appear in the Sherlock Holmes franchise in 2002 and 2004, and played the author Arthur Conan Doyle in Finding Neverland, also in 2004.
Ian and Daniel Radcliffe recently teamed up again for 2020 film Escape From Pretoria, where both play political prisoners.
Ian lives in London and shares two daughters, Daisy and Holly, with his wife Lynn.
Matthew Lewis – Neville Longbottom
From a hapless first year constantly losing his toad to the surprise hero in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II, Matthew’s character Neville Longbottom is a firm fan favourite.
Following the major success of the franchise, Matthew went on to star in a number of theatre, film and TV dramas, including the popular BBC show Death in Paradise.
Most notably, Matthew, 32, had a supporting role in 2016’s Me Before You, which achieved massive box office success, and currently stars in Channel 5 series All Creatures Great And Small.
Matthew married his long-term girlfriend Angela Jones in 2018, after the pair met at a Celebration of Harry Potter event at Universal Studios Orlando, where Angela worked.
As well as acting, Leeds-born Matthew hosts a podcast on the Leeds United football team with former footballer Jermaine Beckford.
Julie Walters – Molly Weasley
Most people will agree that the casting of the Harry Potter series fit almost exactly with what they had imagined in the books, and none more so than Molly Weasley.
Julie already had a significant acting career behind her when she was cast as the mother of the seven Weasleys, from Educating Rita to the magnificent Billy Elliot.
The end of the Harry Potter franchise saw Julie go on to star alongside Saoirse Ronan in Brooklyn (2015) as Mrs Kehoe, and as the zany and lovable Rosie in Mamma Mia! (2008) and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2015), along with a litany of other roles, and in 2017 she was made a Dame (DBE) in to recognise her services to drama.
Julie lives near Plaistow, West Sussex on an organic farm with her husband Grant Goffey; the pair have one daughter, Maie Mae, who was born in 1988.
The 71-year-old announced in 2020 that she would be taking a step back from acting after being diagnosed with bowel cancer, which is thankfully in remission, but is making exceptions for roles she is really interested in – like Mamma Mia 3!, which is currently in development.
Bonnie Wright – Ginny Weasley
Bonnie, now 30, was nine years old when she first appeared as Ginny in the acclaimed series, and has gone on to star in a number of roles since, though none as big as Harry Potter.
She lent her voice to the animated Christmas movie My Dad Is Scrooge (2014) and appeared as Nell in the modern re-imagining of A Christmas Carol (2018), but while she has continued acting she now focuses more on directing films and music videos, and has her own production company, BonBonLumiere.
An ambassador for Greenpeace, Bonnie is a massive campaigner for sustainability and protecting the environment, and in 2020 appeared on Evanna Lynch’s vegan podcast Chickpeeps, where she discussed living a zero-waste life.
Bonnie, who now lives in Los Angeles, is releasing her first book, Go Gently, in 2022, with pre-order available from November 19.
She was previously engaged to fellow Harry Potter actor James Campbell Bower, who played young Grindelwald in Deathly Hallows Part I, but the pair called it quits in 2012.
James and Oliver Phelps – Fred and George Weasley
James and Oliver, 35, played the outrageously funny Fred and George Weasley in the Harry Potter franchise, but while they were inarguably brilliant actors, they have largely left their acting careers since the series came to an end.
The twins continue to work together on other projects however, and currently host a popular podcast series Normal Not Normal.
Launched in 2020, Normal Not Normal has seen a number of mini Harry Potter reunions as the twins interviewed Tom Felton, Bonnie Wright, Katie Leung, Alfred Enoch and Evanna Lynch.
Oliver married girlfriend Katy Humpage in 2015, and has one daughter, while James married Anika Ostle in 2016.
Both brothers support a number of charities, including the Teenage Cancer Trust and Cancer Research UK.
Devon Murray – Seamus Finnigan
Devon, 33, shot to fame overnight when he clinched the role of Seamus Finnigan, but took a step back from acting following Deathly Hallows Part II.
The Kildare native, having once spent his time blowing things up when trying to perform simple spells, has returned to a fairly quiet life in Ireland where he spends much of his time working with horses.
Devon has been with his partner Shannon McCaffrey Quinn since 2018, and in 2021 the pair welcomed their first child together, a son named Cooper.
He often updates fans on his life with his partner, son and their many horses on his Instagram page.
Alfred Enoch – Dean Thomas
Alfred played the West Ham-obsessed Gryffindor from the first to the last installment of the Harry Potter franchise, making his first appearance when he was 10 years old.
Since the series ended, Alfie has gone on to have one of the most successful acting careers out of almost everyone in the cast, most notably appearing in the American television series How to Get Away with Murder.
Now 32, Alfie has also appeared in BBC Sherlock, ITV crime drama Broadchurch, and most recently played Romeo in a production of Romeo and Juliet in London’s famous Globe Theatre and in Apple TV+’s science fiction series Foundation.
While he lives in in London with his girlfriend, Alfred spends a lot of time in the United States for work, and many of his post-Potter roles have seen him use an American accent.
John Cleese – Nearly Headless Nick
Veteran actor John was among the most famous actors to sign up to the first Harry Potter movie, already a household name in the UK for his roles in Monty Python an Fawlty Towers.
The actor and comedian, now 82, appeared as Nearly Headless Nick in the first two installments of the franchise before the character disappeared when Alfonso Cuarón took over as director from Christopher Columbus.
Since leaving the Harry Potter series, John continued his stellar career by appearing in numerous sitcoms and films, and touring the world with his comedy shows.
Most recently however, John has been making headlines for wading in with his less-than-impressed opinions on ‘cancel culture’ and taking aim at ‘woke’ comedy than for his acting career.
In November, John cancelled an appearance at Cambridge University after a visiting speaker was banned for doing a Hitler impression, claiming he was ‘blacklisting himself before someone else did’.
John has been married four times, most recently in 2012 to Jennifer Wade.

Daniel Radcliffe is delighted you love to watch his Harry Potter movies when you feel more than a little worse for wear.
An unearthed interview brought back to life for the 20th anniversary of the film franchise has Daniel sharing his joy that fans choose to watch the films the morning after the night before when they are ‘hungover and feeling really crappy about themselves.’
The actor, who was catapulted to stardom playing the famous boy wizard in the beloved series, said he had been told by friends many times that the movies give them a glow inside and take them to a place of ‘warmth and comfort.’
‘The time in most people’s lives when they discovered it meant that it has an incredibly important place in a lot of people’s childhoods, and they still feel very protective over it,’ he said of the films’ enduring appeal as the first movie in the series celebrates its 20th anniversary.’
‘One of my favourite fates that we could never have ever imagined for the Harry Potter films, but that I have been told by several friends, is that they are fantastic when people are hungover and feeling really crappy about themselves,’ he said, adding that made him feel especially great.
‘They will just watch a few movies back-to-back and it just takes them to a place of warmth and comfort. That is so lovely to me. That is the real-world effect that a film can have on someone’s life. I think that is great.’
Daniel, now 32, made the comments during a BBC documentary on the wonder of the wizarding world, and unearthed to celebrate 20 years since Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone, the first movie in the series, was released in cinemas around the globe to a frenzy of excitement. Released in 2001, it propelled the actor, as well as co-stars Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint, to global fame. The franchise wrapped up in 2011.
However, Daniel has said he’d want to play a different character if the films were ever to be rebooted, either Sirius Black or Professor Remus Lupin instead.
He previously revealed that he had such a great time working with Gary Oldman and David Thewlis that he’d like to take on their characters in the J.K. Rowling series instead.
Speaking on Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast, Daniel said: ‘I would probably want to go with like, Sirius or Lupin.
‘Those were always the two characters that I was like, “They’re great”. And also like, I’m obviously biased by my experience of filming those scenes, with those people, and they’re like some of my favourite memories.’
The BBC documentary, as part of Movies With Ali Plumb, also saw Radcliffe pay tribute to author JK Rowling, who expanded the Potter universe to include the Fantastic Beasts film series, and said to continue doing so would need her stamp.
‘I think it would be very difficult for anything to happen in the Harry Potter world without her involvement really, and (have) it feel like the same world.
‘Jo really cares about the people that she writes for. She cares about the people she writes and the people she writes for. And it is lovely that she has chosen to expand the world in so many different ways because there is such a hunger for that.’

In a recently unearthed interview with Daniel, the actor admitted that he loves to hear how Harry Potter is a go-to watch for people when they have hangovers, due to the comfort they feel from their childhood memories.
‘One of my favourite fates that we could never have ever imagined for the Harry Potter films, but that I have been told by several friends, is that they are fantastic when people are hungover and feeling really crappy about themselves,’ he said.

Christopher Columbus, who directed The Philosopher’s Stone and The Chamber of Secrets, recently revealed that he would like to see Daniel, Emma and Rupert return to reprise their roles in a film adaptation of the stage play The Cursed Child.
‘I would love to direct The Cursed Child. It’s a great play and the kids are actually the right age to play those roles. It’s a small fantasy of mine,’ he told Variety.

Breaking hearts across the world, she wrote: ‘Harry Potter was my home, my family, my world and Hermione (still is) my favorite fictional character of all time. I think a journalist once said it was irritating how many times during an interview I mentioned how lucky I was and started counting… BUT I DAMN WELL KNEW!!! And still know.
‘I am proud not just of what we as group contributed as actors to the franchise but also as the children that became young adults that walked that path. I look at my fellow cast members now and I am just so proud of who everyone has become as people. I am proud we were kind to each other that we supported one another and that we held up something meaningful.’
Emma, now 31, added: ‘Thank you to the fans that have continued to show their support well after the last chapter closed. The magic of the world wouldn’t exist without you. Thank you for fighting to make it such an inclusive and loving place.

Fresh from the success of that iconic Friends reunion, the one-off programme was confirmed yesterday and is due to hit screens on New Year’s Day – with a host yet to be named.
However, while we’re all dusting off our spell book and trying to retrace where we last saw our wand, excited viewers have shared their thoughts on the big event, and have not-so kindly requested that the Gavin and Stacey actor steers clear.
Flocking to Twitter, one savagely begged: ‘The Harry Potter reunion better not be like the Friends reunion where James Corden is there for no apparent reason other than to ruin everything.’
‘Keep James Corden away from the Harry Potter reunion,’ another agreed.
‘No f**king James Corden in Harry Potter special, please,’ a viewer pleaded.
‘I solemnly swear if James Corden somehow slithers his way into the harry potter reunion,’ a follower commented.
As a Twitter user announced they were over the whole thing, adding: ‘Nah keep the Harry Potter special, HBO. Nobody needs James Corden hosting and Bieber flying across stage on a Nimbus 2000.’
Daniel, Emma and Rupert – who played Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley respectively – will be appearing on the special, alongside some of their famous co-stars.
Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, Gary Oldman, Imelda Staunton and Tom Felton are also set to appear, as well as director Christopher Columbus, who helmed the first two films of the franchise.
The official Harry Potter Twitter account announced the programme is flying onto screens on New Year’s Day, on HBO Max.
‘For the first time ever, the legendary cast returns to where the magic started. Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: #ReturnToHogwarts, streaming New Year’s Day, only on @HBOMax,’it read.
However, it has not been made clear when this will air in the UK.
Metro.co.uk has contacted James Corden’s reps for a comment.

Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts is due to air on New Year’s Day on HBO Max, but will be made available to viewers around the world on other platforms.
Also joining the Golden Trio, with reunion whispers leaking beforehand, will be stars including Helena Bonham Carter, Ralph Fiennes, Tom Felton, Bonnie Wright, Robbie Coltrane, Gary Oldman, Imelda Staunton and more, ready to add their memories to the movie magic of never-before-seen clips.
All this looking back to the distant past of 2001 has people wondering how old (or even young) Daniel, Emma and Rupert were when they were plucked from obscurity and shot to stardom throw the power of Harry Potter.
How old was Daniel Radcliffe when he made the first Harry Potter?
Daniel Radcliffe had actually appeared in front of cameras ahead of his eight-month audition process for Harry Potter in 2000, having appeared in a BBC adaptation of David Copperfield and the film The Tailor of Panama.
However, he fit the ‘unknown’ brief well enough to land the role and was aged 11 when filming began and 12 by the time Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was released in November 2001.
How old were Rupert Grint and Emma Watson when they made the first Harry Potter film?
Rupert Grint and Emma Watson were announced as Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger respectively at the same time as Daniel’s casting in August 2000.
‘These are tremendously talented kids who will bring so much to the film,’ commented producer David Heyman at the time, as reported by CNN. ‘We have always been and continue to be devoted to remaining true and faithful to the book.’
Rupert was the older of the trio at, being announced in the role under a week before his 12th birthday, and aged 13 by the time the film was released.
Emma was the youngest at 10 during the majority of filming, turning 11 around the time shooting wrapped in spring 2001.
All three actors went on to reprise their roles in the seven following films of the franchise, finishing with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, which was released in July 2011.
At that time, Daniel Radcliffe was just about to turn 22, Rupert was a month from turning 23 and Emma was 21.
After the announcement of the 20th anniversary reunion, Emma took to Instagram to celebate and thank fans for their continued support as she branded the franchise ‘my home’.
